Yesterday, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) Board of Trustees elected Emily Garr Pacetti as the new Vice President of the Board of Trustees during the Board meeting inside GCRTA’s Main Office Building at 1240 W.6th St., Cleveland, Ohio 44113.
“On behalf of the Board members, I want to thank Lauren R. Welch for her dedicated service to the GCRTA Board over the past three years and also extend a warm welcome to Emily Garr Pacetti as she steps into her new position of leadership,” said Board President Paul A. Koomar. “I look forward to the great work we will accomplish together for GCRTA.”
The appointment follows the resignation of Board Trustee Lauren R. Welch who accepted the appointment to serve as Councilwoman for Cleveland’s Ward 3.
Ms. Pacetti joined the GCRTA Board in January 2024, by appointment from Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne.
