RTA's New Holiday Trolley on Display at Cleveland Winterfest this weekend

CLEVELAND, OH – The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is pleased join the City of Cleveland and other civic and corporate partners for the return of Cleveland’s Winterfest this weekend. On Saturday, RTA is debuting its new Holiday Trolley, and it will be on display in Public Square during Winterfest festivities between Noon and 8 p.m.

Also look for RTA’s award-winning Holiday Trains in service beginning this weekend on the Red, Blue and Green Lines.

Be sure to take your photo with the Holiday Trolley or Holiday Train and post on social media using the hashtag #RTAholidaytrain or #RTAholidaytrolley.

RTA is also launching its holiday promotion and rolling out a Month of Merry that runs through December 23 and which includes give-a-ways and gift cards.

“The Month of Merry holiday promotion is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our employees, our customers and this generous community in any way we can,” RTA’s CEO and General Manager India Birdsong said. “We want to help lead the way in giving back to the community and its local charities that we all have relied upon for many years.”
