On Saturday morning, December 23, 2023, Bus Operator Anthony Taylor demonstrated exceptional customer service on duty. While he was driving on his bus route, Mr. Taylor noticed a concerning situation involving a young female passenger accompanied by an older male. Trusting his instincts and prioritizing passenger safety, Mr. Taylor engaged in conversation with the individuals and started to ask questions. As time went on, he sensed that something wasn’t right about the situation and contacted GCRTA Transit Police. The GCRTA Transit Police investigation revealed that the young female was reported missing. Thanks to Mr. Taylor's quick action and with the help of GCRTA Transit Police, the passenger was safely reunited with her family. This incident highlights the role that Operators play in ensuring community safety.
