CLEVELAND -- The Board of Trustees of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) met today. All committee agenda items passed.

RTA Trustees meet in Committee at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18. The Board will hear a presentation on purchasing racks that hold 3 bikes on the front of each bus.

RTA and several other transit agencies in the region have partnered to better serve customers who use more than one public transit system to reach their destination.

RTA and the Collaborative to End Human Trafficking are sponsoring the third annual human trafficking awareness program at Tower City’s from 3-4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27.

The RTA Board of Trustees met today. All agenda items passed, including a resolution expressing appreciation to the Cleveland Foundation for sponsoring a free-ride day on Jan. 16.
For the third straight year, ridership increased on RTA buses and trains. Figures show overall ridership rose 2 percent in 2013, when compared to 2012.
RTA reports a very busy day on Jan 16, 2014 --- the first free day in almost 20 years. Thanks to the Cleveland Foundation and their gift to RTA, all customers rode for free for 24 hours.

CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is receiving a special gift - one it will give right back to its customers.
RTA will operate overnight rail service to accommodate additional customers planning to celebrate on Public Square New Year's Eve festivities this year.
