CLEVELAND -- The Board of Trustees of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) met today. All agenda items passed.
RTA will hold the Cedar-University Rapid Station opening ceremony on Aug. 28 at 11 a.m., now that an $18.5 million reconstruction is nearing completion.

RTA Trustees have a full agenda when they meet at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19, in the George F. Dixon III Board Room, at the Main Office Building, 1240 W. Sixth St.
This quarter’s service changes for RTA begin Aug. 17. New schedules for affected routes are available on riderta.com and at major RTA facilities.
The RTA Board of Trustees met today, to discuss a number of key issues. All agenda items passed. The Board meets again on Aug. 19.
RTA welcomes Miss Alexandra Huntingdon to the Tower City Rapid Station for the ‘Transit Tracks’ series. She will perform during Gay Games 9 at the station Aug 11 from noon-3 p.m.

RTA has postponed a July 22 meeting to discuss a study on the use of the East 34th and East 79th Street Rapid Stations, which serve the Red, Blue and Green Lines.
