 Red Line Riders: Partial Shutdown

-

Saturday, June 27 through Sunday, June 28, 2026, Red Line rail service between the Tower City and E 55 Stations will be replaced with #66R buses.

Red Line trains will operate between the Louis Stokes - Windermere and E 55 Stations and between the Tower City and Airport Stations.

The #66R will not stop at the Tri-C - Campus District Station. Riders wishing to access this station can use the #15: Union - Harvard or #19-19A-19B: Broadway bus lines.

The Tower City stop is located on West Prospect at W 3. Please look for the special orange #66R bus stop sign to board the rail replacement buses.

The #66R buses will operate at the same hours and frequency as the Red Line trains during this shutdown.

Riders can learn about alternative routes to their destinations by using the trip planner or downloading the Transit App at rideRTA.com or calling the GCRTA Community Connection Line at 216-621-9500.

Full Red Line rail service will resume at start of service on Monday, June 29, 2026.

GCRTA appreciates your patience while this necessary construction work for the Tower City East Portals project is undertaken.
