#66R buses will replace Red Line service between Tower City and East 55th stations Sunday, August 2 through Saturday, August 15, 2026, due to work on the Eagle Avenue Bridge project.
#66R buses will not stop at the Tri-C-Campus District station. Riders wishing to access this station can use the #15 Union-Harvard or #19/19A/19B – Broadway bus lines.
The Tower City stop is located on W. Prospect at W. 3rd St. Please look for the special orange #66R bus stop sign to board the rail replacement bus.
Red Line trains will operate between Stokes Windermere and East 55th stations and between Tower City and Airport stations.
#66R buses will operate at the same hours and frequency as the Red Line train during this shutdown.
The regular Red Line schedule will resume with the start of service on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
