CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is getting ready for the Republican National Convention here July 18-22. RTA is introducing the first of 12 new trolleys that are being added to the fleet to better serve the increased demand next summer.

CLEVELAND -- Monday, Jan. 18, is a federal holiday to honor Martin Luther King Jr. RTA offices will be closed, but bus and rail service will operate on a regular weekday schedule. Many local museums will offer free admission or discounts.

SHAKER HEIGHTS – Today, officials from Shaker Heights and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) officially opened the new $5.4 million Lee-Van Aken Station – just steps away from City Hall and the Library. It is one of the busiest stations on the Blue Line.
