Effective Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, May 31, 2024, Red Line trains will operate on a 30-minute frequency east of Tower City from 5:50 p.m. to close of service each day.
During this period:
- eastbound trains will depart Tower City at :20 and :50 after the hour
- westbound trains will depart Stokes - Windermere at :21 and :51 after the hour
This change in frequency will allow RTA to perform single-track operations between Cedar - University and Stokes - Windermere stations for maintenance work. Delays may be experienced throughout the Red Line in both directions.
West of Tower City, Red Line service will continue to operate on its regular 15-minute frequency.
